Main features of Hardware Components

Graphics Tablet:

Graphics tablet it’s a type of tablet which can allow user to draw on computer like drawing on paper using stylus pen. Graphics tablet it’s easier to use than computer mouse and provides more image editing features and tools in certain software like paint and photoshop than normal computer mouse.

There are many different tablets available some of them can even show pictures on the tablet screen while editing them or drawing. Graphics tablet can be used on almost all computers and can be used for many things like for hand writing text in computers, editing/drawing images etc.

Digital camera:

Digital camera it’s a small hand based device which can even fit into the pocket depending on camera type. Digital Camera allows user to take videos, pictures and then upload them into the computer by connecting camera using USB cable or either wirelessly into the computer so the user can transfer videos and images and edit them or print them off or just upload to website such as blog , facebook etc.

The bigger memory storage is in camera, the more videos and pictures would be able to take, and most of the cameras have memory slots in it. Also most cameras take images of format such as JPEG and PNG and videos can be up to 1080HD but really depending on the type of camera.

Digital cameras can take better images and videos than mobile phones or any device which has camera install.

 

Which hardware component i would choose , graphics tablet or digital camera?

I would choose digital camera instead of Graphics Tablet because i do prefer taking photographs of different things around me and upload them into my computer so i could edit them and upload to my blog, facebook etc. I do also love taking HD videos such as videos of parks, animals , flowers, nature etc. So thats why i think Digital camera would be better for me.

I also choose digital camera because you can carry Digital camera everywhere in your handbag or even pocket depending how small camera is. I think digital camera can provide more things than Graphics Tablet as Graphics Tablet is only for image editing and drawing while camera can take videos, photographs and then those photographs can be edited on software's such as photoshop and picmonkey.

Main features of Software Packages

Photoshop: is a photo/image editing program which allows user to edit their own photos or images by using tools and features which are provide in photoshop. Photoshop do come in Adobe Package which can be expensive but even though photoshop is expensive it can provide a lot of features such as different types of tools, colours etc. than picmonkey .

Its not really easy to use photoshop and it can take some time of getting use to the tools and features in photoshop but once you get use to this software you will be able to edit your images/photos better .

Photoshop has many different file formats which images can be save as such as file formats like: Photoshop .PSD Photoshop .PSDphotoshop .PSD, JPEG, GIF, PNG,TIFF,EPS and PDF. Different file formats in photoshop can provide different image size and different image quality. Some of these formats are have more better file formats than others.

Photoshop images can be also be save in different sizes for e.g. size which be suitable for printing or fit into the page etc.

User can also download free photoshop trail from the adobe website which allows user to use photoshop for free up to 30 days.

Picmonkey:

Picmonkey it’s online based image editing website which allows users to edit their photographs and images for free. Picmonkey Provides different types of tools and features such as cropping tools, image effect tools, borders etc.  Some features and tools aren’t free in picmonkey as some of them needs to be purchased in order for them to be applied on your image, of course user can try out these tools for free but won’t be saved on his/her image.

Picmonkey has many different layouts available for applying on images such as layouts of seasonal like winter or celebration layouts like Halloween which can be added into the image.

Picmonkey its free to use but has two disadvantages such as it only has two image formats which can save images on such as JPEG and PNG while photoshop has many formats available even though its expensive. Picmonkey doesn’t have as much features and tools available like photoshop has for editing images.

In picmonkey user is able to choose the size of the image which he/she wants to save on there is three different sizes available on picmonkey while photoshop provides more image sizes than picmonkey.

 

Which would I choose picmonkey or photoshop?

I would choose picmonkey editing than photoshop because its features and tools doesn’t cost as much as photoshop package cost. There is some tools,effects and features available in picmonkey and looks way more better than photoshop features.

I would choose picmonkey because its easy to use and user can learn quickly how to use picmonkey because its not as complicated like photoshop is.
